The most recent OFCOM complaints survey released on the 21 April 2011 shows O2 as having the least number of customer complaints (directed via OFCOM) per 1,000 subscribers out of all of the mobile phone operators.
They have shown a low complaint ratio for some time now. This has surprised me somewhat as O2 have slowly fallen down the network and data coverage charts during the same period. I do believe in O2 – they are a solid network – however versus the might of the new Everything Everywhere alliance (Orange and T-Mobile) I can only see the complaints against those networks decreasing.
In fact, OFCOM do state in their document that a number of the T-Mobile complaints were about this very merger – customer being confused.
3 (Three) with the lowest customer base has the highest complaint – I believe that this is down to an immature network - but watch this space – they have the fastest (and significantly larger) 3G network – and with users needing faster and faster speeds – it can only be a matter of time. Well done O2!
