The One Point and IT@Spectrum have been busy attending events for this year's Biz Week as well as hosting events at The View.
The first event at The View on Wednesday was our very own ‘Tech Talks – What Lies Beneath’. This featured talks by The One Point’s Nathan Greenfield and IT@Spectrum’s Steve Fewster on the management of data were our guests were offered helpful advice and tips on how a better use of technology to help them get under the skin of their business’ data. This was an opportunity to learn how to transform a torrent of data into a calm flow of useful and visual management information, getting the right information to the right person at the right time!
This Tech Talk was the first instalment of a series of similar future events with the next Tech Talk scheduled for September.
On Thursday the second event at The View organised by Emmerson Kitney featured a talk by Centre for Cities Paul Swinney sharing an exclusive insight from "The Geography of the Humber Economy" report.
In addition to these events, The One Point and IT@Spectrum have been out and about attending events across the region. On Monday we attended the Bondholder breakfast for an inspiring and energising start to the week ahead. As well as this The One Point sponsored a table a the IoD Luncheon.
Finally, on Friday The One Point have attended ‘The Business Day’ at the Bridlington Spa.
We have found the events this week to be very informative and have welcomed a chance to network with friends new and old.
We hope that those attending our Tech Talk left the event with some useful insights into the management of data and how The One Point and IT@Spectrum can help them to maximise control of their own business data.
