This year has been great for The One Point. As well as continuing our growth and winning industry awards our team have now fully moved into our new offices at Bridgehead Business Park.
This prestigious new location is surrounded by some of the leading businesses in the region in a building shared with sister company IT@spectrum. The space is designed to be a showcase for our innovation, mobilisation and digitalisation with technical excellence, sales and engineering support all under one roof.
The One Point team are enjoying working in this dynamic new space in an environment that fosters creativity, communication and collaboration.
The One Point has continued to see growth over the past year with 8 new staff members joining us and 2 more full-time staff members are set to join us in the new year after completing an apprentice program.
We have also seen success as a company as we continue to win national recognition receiving industry awards. Most recently O2 have named us as the O2 Direct (small) Partner of the year at their recent partner awards for businesses with less that 10,000 members. In addition this year we have been recognised as among the top 5 percent of Microsoft partners in the UK.
Products and services of The One Point have continued to expand and see growth. Two million calls per month are now supported with our hosted telephone system. We are supporting and supplying fully managed technology systems to the likes of Swift Caravans and the NHS as well as looking after many local schools.
We are particularly excited to see our new mobile apps department flourish and we aim to have our app support service in the pocket of every employee of every company we support.
Throughout the year the One Point has also continued to support activities in the local community including charities, sports and education. This has included giving our backing to the Smile Foundation charity activities and donating 100 Shoeboxes to the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child appeal. As well as this we are working with the Greenpower Education Trust to mentor students to build and race a kit care later next year.
Martin Lauer, our MD has said “ It’s been a fantastic year and we cannot wait until 2017. Next year is going to be even better for us”.
