O2 customers can now access 5G through their custom plans that allow you to be flexible and take advantage of 5G on your terms.

O2 5G is now available on the best business network in:

Belfast
Cardiff
Edinburgh
Leeds
London
Slough

The 5G network will improve capacity and reliability in key places.

O2 will increase this to 20 locations in 2019 and aim to have 5G available in a total of 50 towns and cities by Summer 2020. These 20 locations include; Coventry, Nottingham, Blackpool, Derby, Leicester, Reading, Bournemouth, Lisburn, Slough, Bristol, Eton, Stoke, Cardiff, Guildford, Norwich and Windsor.

So, what makes 5G different?

With ultra-low latency, faster speeds and new capabilities, 5G is completely different to anything we've seen before. It has the potential to transform the way your business operates, the way you engage and empower your people, and the way you serve your customers.

From remote maintenance of equipment in the field, to accurate monitoring of your workforce and operations, ultra-low latency will enable real-time communication between IoT devices across your business.

5G Business Tariffs:

What about 4G?

It's important to note that 5G is not simply replacing 4G, they will work alongside each other with O2 continuing to invest in 4G, which remains the backbone of the network. O2 currently offers 4G in almost 19,000 cities, towns and villages across the UK and in the first half of 2019, they upgraded 4G capacity in a further 500,000 UK postal codes!
