Although Industry 4.0 will be driven by AI and Automation, this will be created by a new 5th generation of engineers, workers, innovators and managers. It is not about what 5G can let you do, it's about who 5G will allow you to be. Every generation has used technology to write their chapter in history. Our 5G network will empower the Fifth Generation of business people."

So, what makes 5G different?
With ultra-low latency, faster speeds and new capabilities, 5G is completely different to anything we've seen before. It has the potential to transform the way your business operates, the way you engage and empower your people, and the way you serve your customers.
From remote maintenance of equipment in the field, to accurate monitoring of your workforce and operations, ultra-low latency will enable real-time communication between IoT devices across your business.

"Today is a significant moment for our customers and our business as we switch on the O2 5G network. We're launching with a range of tariffs that make it easy and fair for customers to acess 5G, with flexible plans that cost no more than 4G. We're also switching on 5G in important parts of towns and cities first, places where it will benefit customers and businesses most."
"I believe 5G is going to revolutionise the way people and businesses use mobile connectivity, unlocking huge possibilities for our economy and society. No one in the country has all the answers today, but I'm excited about getting it into the hands of our customers and working with leading partners to help shape the future of 5G for the next generation."
Matt Warman, Digital Minister, said:
"We want the UK to be a global leader in 5G and for the majority of the population to have access to a 5G signal by 2027. This investment by O2 is a great step toward rolling out the technology across our home nations, providing world-class infrastructure to help us grow our economy and compete strongly."
5G Business Tariffs:
As an O2 Direct Partner, we will be providing 5G Business Tariffs to our customers when 5G is made available in the local area. These tariffs will suit businesses of every size, whatever their data requirements.
A benefit of 5G is the dependibility it brings businesses who can rely on the technology to power devices and manage their techology remotely. The compatibility with fixed IP means 5G could help businesses lead to safer.
