Protect your business: update your iPhone now!
Apple has released an update that fixes security flaws on its iPhone, iPad and Mac devices. The flaw could allow hackers to take complete control of affected devices, industry experts have suggested.
The update has been made available to iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and later and iPad 5th gen and later. It is also available to the iPad mini 4 and later versions and the iPod touch (7th generation).
Mac users running macOS Monterey are also being encouraged to update.
If you are a business owner, it is important to update your devices as soon as possible to protect your company data from hackers.
Apple stated that hackers took advantage of a flaw in WebKit- which is the engine that powers Safari, their web browser. If users access malicious content on the internet, this could be used against them by said hackers. As of now, there are no confirmed reports where this security flaw has caused any damage to people or devices.
