The One Point named as an official MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) company in the UK

The One Point signed an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) agreement with Hutchinson Whampoa (the UK 3 network) to deliver its innovative One Network solution. It sees a landline SIM being developed for the first time.

Martin Lauer said; This landline SIM will allow mobile users to be contacted via a landline number activated with the SIM, not just via a forwarding system that carries expensive landline to mobile charges. The services can be accessed on a pre-pay or post-pay basis, all on 28-day rolling contracts. The service has been very successful to date; we are looking to roll out to over 400 mobile dealers in the South of England within the next month.

He added; This is a real game-changer, and its applications are wide and varied. We are very excited about this proposition finally getting to the mass market.
