The One Point offer work experience to Wyke College Students

Students from Wkye College, Callum and Imaan Rauf this week have shadowed our Digital department team. They learned about the tools and languages we use to create products for our customers and for internal projects. They even had a chance to get involved in real projects by helping us prepare content.

In addition, Imaan has spent some time with the IT@Spectrum finance department.

David Carr, Department head says ‚"We have been impressed with the enthusiasm we have seen from both students who embraced the opportunity to ask many questions that ranged from the technical skills of the industry to how individual staff member have entered into employment as software developers. This allowed them to gain a better understanding of the routes available to young people who are looking into how to gain employment in the software development industry.‚"
