The One Point recognised for Communications Technology Award

The One Point was again recognised at this year's Annual Premier Regional Business Awards last week - Hull Daily Mail's News and Media Awards 2011 for the Communications in Technology Award, this time for The One Point's Innovation in Technology for creating Hull KR TV. The Hull KR TV platform, developed, managed and hosted by The One Point, is the 4th online sporting TV channel developed by The One Point and has many new features allowing the club to compete on the National stage with match highlights and behind the scenes footage.
In a close-run battle, The One Point were runners up for the award.

Managing Director Martin Lauer commented:
"We did not expect to be nominated for the Mail news and Media Communications Technology in Business Award - we were just cracking on with the day job - we did not put ourselves up for this. So to even make the shortlist, we were really pleased and really demonstrated the depth of talent we have within our team, alongside our company's enthusiasm for the sport of Rugby League."
