The One Point Up For More Awards

The One Point are up for more awards at this year's Mail News and Media Business Awards, presented on the 25th November 2010.  The One Point are down to the final three for the 'Contribution To The Community'. 

Martin Lauer, Group Managing Director, said; " I am really delighted that the company has been recognised for the amount of work it does within the community.  We do not do it for the recognition, more as a culture within the company.  We have invested nearly £250,000 in to sports, arts, employment and local charitable initiatives since 2005.  This is a big commitment but it reflects our desire to support the City and Region as a whole."

The One Point have just completed, amongst other projects, a 4 year sponsorship deal with North Ferriby United, a third year with Hull Basketball team Hull Wasps, a further year with Hull KR and Hull FC, alongside paying for valuable communications support to Downright Special and House Of Light.
