TOP Football Team Reign Supreme Again

The One Point's 5-A-Side Football Team returned to their winning ways again this weekend at the MS3 Cup Challenge, raising money for The Echoes Foundation.

The event, held this weekend at Soccer Sensations, in icy, minus 3-degree conditions, saw The One Point team win the MS3 Cup beating Hull KR in the final 2-1.

Our coach said, "We were a little slow out of the blocks in our qualifying matches, taking 10 points from an available 12. However, we had a comfortable Semi against Barclays and took the Final with relative composure."

The team included our MD Martin Lauer, who opened his score sheet by sneaking a cheeky left-footer into the bottom left-hand corner after Stevie G got the team back on track with 2 goals in as many minutes.

Other competing teams included Viking FM, Barclays Bank, Hull FC, Hull KR, KC and the CBA Partnership.
