Advancing Equality in the Industrial Sector: The One Point's Sponsorship of the WiME Initiative

The One Point proudly announces its sponsorship of the Women into Manufacturing and Engineering (WiME) initiative, which includes an event held at the Guild Hall, Hull, on Wednesday 4th, October, which we will be attending.

Hosted by Green Port Hull, the WiME initiative serves as a platform to encourage girls and women to explore and pursue careers in manufacturing and engineering.

On the day, we will be there as we engage with attendees and help inspire and promote the possibilities open to those looking to embark on a tech career.

By sponsoring this initiative, The One Point supports breaking down barriers that have traditionally kept women from fully participating in these industries. However, the push for gender equality doesn't stop with The One Point. Numerous other regional businesses and organisations have also supported the WiME initiative.

Through our sponsorship of the WiME initiative, The One Point aims to inspire a new generation of women engineers and manufacturers and provide young women with the confidence and resources to access these industries, helping to create a gender balance in manufacturing and engineering.
