Microsoft price increases: What we know so far

Microsoft has recently announced the following changes:

Microsoft are increasing the prices of 6 products, effective March 2022.

This price increase will be applied to the following products:

• Microsoft 365 Business Basic
• Microsoft 365 Business Premium
• Office 365 E1
• Office 365 E3
• Office 365 E5
• Microsoft 365 E3

This is the first major price increase from Microsoft in 10 years, and their justification is that the new prices reflect the value customers get from the products included.

What do I need to do?

Our team is aware of this price increase and is communicating to affected customers. There are no immediate actions at this stage. However, we are aware that some customers have been asking questions.

At this time, there is no additional information we can provide to customers as the announcement has just been made, but as information becomes available, our team will proactively contact affected customers.
