Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats.

Protection against low-level threats is considered important as businesses and organisations who are vulnerable to these may find themselves marked as an easy target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cybercriminals and others.

Certification offers peace of mind that any defences in place will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because they are looking for targets that do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.

Cyber Essentials certification is available to all businesses or organisations.
